Frequently Asked Questions

How much does minibus hire in Southampton cost?
Minibus hire in Southampton is quoted as a fixed per-vehicle fare based on distance and duration, which normally works out cheaper per person than booking several separate taxis. Call 02380 333 000 with your passenger count, luggage and route for a quote.
What is the maximum group size you can accommodate?
We can accommodate groups up to 16 passengers in a single minibus, or larger groups with multiple vehicles. 6-seater, 8-seater and 16-seater options are available.
Is there a minimum booking for a minibus?
We recommend a minimum of 6 passengers for a minibus booking to keep the cost per person competitive, though we will quote any group size you send us so you can compare options.
Do your minibuses have room for luggage?
Yes, all our minibuses have luggage capacity suited to a full passenger load, which matters for airport, cruise and university trips where everyone brings a suitcase. Tell us your luggage count when booking.
Can you take 9 passengers?
Yes, 9 passengers fit comfortably in our 16-seat minibus with space for their luggage. We size the vehicle to your booking rather than sending a smaller one that will not fit the group.
How do I book a minibus?
Call Soton Cars on 02380 333 000, book online, or send the group details on WhatsApp. Group bookings are taken 24/7 and we confirm the vehicle, capacity and fixed fare in writing before the journey.
