Wedding Transport in Southampton: Planning Cars for the Couple and the Guests
An honest guide to wedding transport: executive cars for the couple rather than vintage hire, guest shuttles that run on one plan, and evening cars home.

Wedding Cars for the Couple, Guests Included
Let us be straight about what we are, because wedding searches mix two different services together. We are not a classic or vintage car hire firm, and this page will not pretend otherwise. What we provide is wedding transport: modern executive cars with a chauffeur for the couple and the bridal party, and properly coordinated transport for the guests, which is the part of the day that actually decides whether everyone arrives calm and on time.
Done well, wedding transport disappears into the background. The bride is not watching the clock, the guests are not lost between church and venue, and nobody is stranded at midnight. This guide explains how we plan it, from the bridal car to the last shuttle home.
The Couple's Car: Executive, Chauffeured, Decorated on Request
The bridal car is an executive saloon, a Mercedes, BMW or Audi model, with a chauffeur in smart attire. Where availability allows, you choose the colour. Ribbon and floral decoration can be arranged on request, timed so the ribbon is at its best when the photographs happen, not fitted days before and tired by the morning.
Cars can be hired by the hour or for the full day, so the same vehicle and driver can cover the journey to the ceremony, the move to the venue, and the photographs in between. If the couple and the bridal party need more than one car, we run them as a matched set with coordinated timings rather than as separate bookings that happen to share a date.
Guests: The Journey Everyone Forgets to Plan
Ask couples what went wrong at weddings they have attended and guest transport comes up again and again: guests driving between unfamiliar venues, nowhere to park, and a reception that starts in dribs and drabs over an hour. A guest shuttle plan fixes all of it. We manage multiple vehicles across multiple pickup points against one shared timing plan, so the church, registry office and venue runs all line up.
For groups, minibuses carry up to 8 guests at a time with their luggage, and larger groups of 9 to 16 are arranged by phone or email so the vehicle matches the party. Shuttles can run in waves: the elderly relatives and families first, or everyone in one movement, whichever the day needs. The return matters just as much, and we cover evening party transport too, with the same vehicle kept on or a second vehicle sent to collect guests later.
- One timing plan across every vehicle and pickup point
- Guest shuttles in waves, or the whole party in one movement
- Up to 8 guests per minibus, 9 to 16 arranged by phone or email
- Evening transport home covered, not just the daytime runs
One Timing Plan for the Whole Day
Wedding days are won or lost on the schedule. Ours starts from your ceremony time and works backwards: when the bridal party must be ready, when the guests must leave their hotels, and how long each leg really takes on a Saturday in Southampton, not how long it takes on a quiet Tuesday. Every pickup point gets a time, every driver gets the same plan, and we confirm the driver schedule in writing before the day.
Build in the slack where it matters. Photographs overrun, speeches wander, and traffic does not care that it is your wedding. A plan with margin absorbs all three; a plan timed to the minute amplifies them. Tell us the shape of the day and we will tell you honestly where it is tight.
Booking, Quotes and the 72 Hour Rule
Wedding transport is priced as a personal quotation, because no two days are alike: the venues, the vehicles, the hours and the number of movements set the price, so there is no set package fare and we will not invent one. Contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp with your date and venues and we will build the quote around your actual day.
The minimum notice we ask is 72 hours, but treat that as a floor, not a target. Saturdays in peak season book out first, and the sensible moment to reserve your cars is when you book the venue. The earlier we hold your date, the more choice of vehicles and colours you have.
